Subsequent to National Service Ian undertook his law degrees at Monash
University under the provisions of the National Service Rehabilitation
Scheme. He has degrees in Bachelor of Juris Prudence and Bachelor of
Laws. He was admitted to practice in l980.
Ian practises in self managed superannuation, complex estate planning,
wills, trusts and business law exclusively. He provides advice on
corporate structures, business risk and succession together with all
matters relating to self-managed superannuation.
Ian currently consults to a number of Accounting, Risk Management and
Financial Planning firms. He has also given numerous presentations to
members of the Society of the CPA, Quadrant Securities, SPAA, Law
Australasia, Ozplan, Rotary Groups and several Accounting and Financial
Planning firms for PD Purposes. He is available to present at seminars
or information sessions upon request on a complimentary basis. |

Ian is a member of the Commercial and Wills & Estate Planning Divisions of the Law Institute of Victoria, an accredited specialist member of Superannuation Professionals of Australia Association and is one of the first lawyers in Australia to complete a course to become an accredited Self Managed superannuation specialist under the provisions of the Financial Services Reform Act.
Born in Melbourne but raised in Gippsland, Ian has three daughters aged 20, 18 and 15. He is a keen golfer and fisherman and a passionate St Kilda supporter.
